The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the promotion if fraud, technical failures, or other factors impair the integrity of the promotion.
Important change from your $200 ticket idea
If you advertise “1,200 tickets at $200 each”, regulators could view that as selling chances to win a prize, which is the core problem.
A safer marketing approach is:
Safer promotional wording
Support the build. Enter the giveaway.
Purchase limited-edition merchandise packages (up to 1,200 available) and receive a promotional entry code. Or enter free by mail. No purchase necessary.
Then offer 1,200 merchandise packages (for example, a $200 collector package that includes apparel, memorabilia, and event access). The package must have real standalone value and be purchasable even by someone who does not want to enter the sweepstakes.
